60's Series 1 Land Rover (SWB) - Vittoria, NSW
I came across this old Landy when we stopped at a Honey farm on the way back from Forbes. This place is located on the Mitchell Highway on the way back from Orange to Bathurst. I was just hanging around waiting for the kids when I spotted this old 4wd sitting abandoned. Well, it wasn't abandoned, it looked like they had put it there as part of the look etc. Two things came to my mind. This car could be worth a lot if restored properly, and the second thing was that this would be great to shoot! I love cars, especially rare ones. So I took the opportunity. I've signed up for a photography course in early November so hopefully will take better photos after that. I had the camera on auto setting using the 18-55mm kit lens and hood. The exposure is a bit bright due to the sun but I'll try fix these up later on the pc. Program mode might have been better to use on the 550D in order to make minor adjustments for exposure and brightness etc. I was in a hurry though so auto setting it was! Enjoy the pics. Some are a bit bright but overall, they're pretty clear.
